Italian Radicchio Precoce has a tightly-packed, long and tapered leaves, of a beautiful red-violet colour with white ribs, it has the pleasingly bitter flavour and crunchy texture. It prized for its use in the kitchen for more complex dishes, can be eaten raw, but it reserves pleasant surprises on the palate even when cooked in different types of recipes.
